What acts do we put on for others? And what masks do we hide behind?

oh god, there's these girls in my school that are OBSESSED with these questions. I can't tell you how many discussions i've heard/read about who really sees us under our masks. everyone hides behind masks, everyone put acts on for others all the time, only when we really get to know someone and feel completely comfortable with them do we reveal our true selves, and that's my opinion. but i know some girls who go on and on and on about this... yeah.

actually now that i read your questions, those are things they never discussed. they only talked about IF and WHEN but not WHAT. so, yeah i didn't answer your questions at all. but i gave you two comments?

well ya know. in psychology we learned that the many "masks" we wear in front of other people are all just part of our persona . acting differently around different people is normal for the mind to do. for example, acting differently in front of a parent as opposed to a friend or boyfriend/girlfriend. however, being fake is a completely differet thing, and im not sure which one youre talking about. oi!~
